Facility Information
Capital Power’s 105-MW Port Dover and Nanticoke Wind Project, located in the Counties of Haldimand and Norfolk, Ontario, commenced operation in November 2013.
The Project, which features 58 Vestas V-90 turbines, received its Renewable Energy Approval (REA) from the Ontario Ministry of the Environment on July 17, 2012.
Effective June 27, 2013, Capital Power L.P. and Capital Power GP Holdings Inc., as the general partner of Capital Power L.P., transferred the PDN project to Capital Power (PDN) L.P., an Ontario limited partnership formed to hold the PDN project. Capital Power L.P. is a general partner in Capital Power (PDN) L.P., together with Capital Power Generation Services Inc. as a second general partner and CP K2 Holdings Inc. as a limited partner. The partners are all indirect subsidiaries of Capital Power Corporation and the transfer was done for internal organizational purposes.
