Capital Power earned a spot as one of Alberta’s Top Employers for 2016 through the annual competition organized by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers. This designation recognizes the Alberta employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.
Capital Power is proposing to build the Halkirk 2 Wind Power Facility (H2 Project). The project will be located north of Capital Power's existing Halkirk Wind Facility in east-central Alberta within Paintearth County.
H2 will be approximately 150 MW and use the latest technology in Utility Scale Wind Generation.
