An electrical engineer by trade, Brad harnessed his valuable knowledge to explore a career in renewable energy when he started with Capital Power as a Solar Manager in 2021. His talent, desire to learn, and reputation as a team player propelled him to become the Operations and Maintenance Manager for Capital Power’s entire Alberta renewables fleet. Being challenged and having a wide array of responsibilities has been a highlight for Brad, overshadowed only by the pride he has in Strathmore Solar, our 40 MW facility where he’s based. While working far from his team, Brad experiences a strong camaraderie among the group – everyone is only a phone call away and working towards the same vision.
