May leads the commodity and power market analytics functions to support strategic investment decisions across the business. She is also accountable for delivering and evolving the long-term sustainability strategy, including low carbon ventures.
May has over 20 years of electricity industry experience, including strategy, sustainability, fundamental forecasting, commercial asset management, environmental analytics, project assessments and valuations. In her previous role as Vice President of Strategy, Forecasting & Sustainability at Capital Power, she led the corporate strategy, integration of sustainability priorities, and ESG disclosure and reporting. May also oversaw Capital Power’s corporate analytics and commodity risk management team responsible for developing market assessment analytics across North American power markets.
