Kevin MacIntosh holds enterprise accountability for Capital Power’s financial functions, including treasury, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, tax, investor relations, and enterprise risk management. He’s focused on maintaining strong financial discipline, enabling strategic decision‑making, and supporting long‑term value creation.

Kevin brings over 30 years of financial experience across publicly traded energy companies in North America. Prior to joining Capital Power, he served as Vice President and Controller at Suncor Energy, where he was accountable for external reporting, internal controls, financial planning and analysis, credit and collections, and ERP‑enabled business processes.

Kevin brings deep expertise in leading large, complex, and transaction-focused organizations with cross-border operations. He has a proven ability to lead high‑performing teams through periods of change, strengthen financial systems and controls, and align financial strategy with business execution.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University and a CPA designation.
