With over 30 years of financial experience, Kevin leads Capital Power’s financial functions including Treasury, Financial Reporting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Tax and Investor Relations. He is also responsible for our Enterprise Risk Management processes.

Prior to his current role, Kevin served as Vice President and Controller for Suncor Energy. In this role, he was accountable for external reporting, internal controls, financial planning and analysis, credit and collections, and ERP-based business process. He also led the implementation of a next-generation, intelligent ERP system, and served as the finance lead for M&A integrations.

Kevin brings deep expertise as a senior finance leader working across publicly traded energy companies in North America. His background includes leading large, complex, merger and acquisition focused organizations with cross-border operations. He has a proven track record in strategic leadership and business optimization, leading high-performance teams across financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and finance system transformation – including complex SAP implementations and enterprise-wide digitization initiatives.
