Ferio Pugliese is Senior Vice President and Chief Corporate Officer at Capital Power, with enterprise accountability for People & Culture, Information Services, Data Science & Insights, Energy Markets & Low Carbon Solutions, and Communications & Community Engagement. His mandate is focused on strengthening organizational capability, enabling strategy execution, and driving long term shareholder value through disciplined leadership, culture, and innovation.

Ferio brings extensive executive experience across regulated and competitive industries, with a demonstrated track record of leading large, complex organizations through transformation while maintaining operational discipline and governance rigor. Prior to Capital Power, he held senior executive roles at Parkland, Air Canada, Hydro One, and WestJet, where he led enterprise-scale portfolios that supported growth strategies, improved performance, and enhanced stakeholder confidence during periods of material change.

He is recognized for a people first leadership approach grounded in long-term value creation. Across his career, Ferio has been closely involved in scaling platforms, integrating acquisitions, aligning culture with strategy, and building leadership capacity to support sustainable returns.

Ferio holds a Graduate degree from Central Michigan University, Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor, and has completed the Executive Development Program at the Ivey School of Business. In 2007, he was recognized by Caldwell Partners as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40.
