Barry Perry is an accomplished utility executive and finance leader with deep power and energy sector expertise. As former President and CEO of Fortis Inc., he helped lead a significant growth period, including the purchase of three publicly listed U.S. utilities. Prior to Fortis, he held senior finance and executive roles in the power, manufacturing, and energy sectors.

Barry currently serves on the boards of CPP Investments and Royal Bank of Canada. He previously served on the Fortis board, and several subsidiary boards, as well as chair and co-chair roles with the Edison Electric Institute. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University of Newfoundland and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
