Our youth-focused investments help:
- Build leadership, mentorship, and career-readiness skills
- Increase access to education, training, and hands-on learning – particularly in the energy industry and STEM
- Create inclusive pathways that remove barriers and open doors for diverse youth
- Strengthen community resilience by supporting the next generation of decision and changemakers

Empower Hours:
Employees and their families who volunteer a minimum of 15 hours per year can direct a Capital Power grant to a non-profit organization of their choice.
Generosity:
Capital Power provides unlimited matching of employee charitable donations to registered charities in Canada and the United States.
Paid Volunteer Time:
We recognize the power of volunteering by offering up to 8 hours of paid volunteer time each calendar year, enabling employees to support their communities during regular working hours.
