Shutout hunger with Capital Power and the Oilers!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the Stuff‑a‑Bus campaign has officially wrapped up with a big win for Edmonton’s Food Bank. Together with the Edmonton Oilers, we collected over 1,000 pounds of non‑perishable food and raised more than $1,100 in donations, with Capital Power contributing an additional $5,000 to support the Food Bank’s critical work.
A heartfelt thank you to the Oilers for being such great partners, and to everyone who donated, volunteered, and brought the energy all month long.
Join us and the Edmonton Oilers March 28 (Oilers game day!) to Stuff-a-Bus for Edmonton’s Foodbank! Together we can shutout hunger in Edmonton – drop of non-perishable food and monetary donations at our bus in the ICE District Plaza between 12:00-3:00 p.m. Thank you for your support; it provides urgently needed meals and hope for those in need.
Edmonton’s Foodbank, which provides food for over 43,000 people each month, is seeing increased demand for meals and support across Edmonton. The most needed items include:
- Beans without pork
- Canned fish or meat
- Baby formula
- Diapers
- Peanut butter
- Healthy school snacks
- Soup
- Canned fruit or vegetables
- Pasta & pasta sauce
- Hot & cold cereal
Win a pair of Oiler tickets by bringing a food donation to our bus in the ICE District Plaza on March 28!
