EDMONTON, Alberta – Capital Power Corporation (TSX: CPX) will be hosting its third annual investor day event on Thursday, December 8, 2011 in Toronto.  The event will be held at the St. Andrew’s Club and Conference Centre located at 150 King Street West, 16th Floor, in the Sun Life Financial Tower.

The half-day morning event starting at 8:30 am (ET) will include various presentations from the management team. Members of the professional investment community are invited to attend the event.
