Capital Power celebrates 10 years of delivering responsible energy


EDMONTON, Alberta – Capital Power Corporation (TSX: CPX) celebrates its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of disciplined growth, sustainability and providing value to its shareholders.

Over the last 10 years, Capital Power has executed on its strategy and delivered disciplined growth and strong financial performance. Since its initial public offering (IPO) on the Toronto Stock Exchange in July 2009, Capital Power has seen a growth in its total assets to almost $9 billion and evolved its generation portfolio to over 6,300 megawatts (MWs) from 28 facilities operating and under construction across North America.
