Capital Power announces inclusion in the S&P/TSX Composite Index


EDMONTON, Alberta – June 10, 2011 – Capital Power Corporation (TSX: CPX) (Capital Power) announced today that Standard & Poor’s (S&P) has added Capital Power to its S&P/TSX Composite Index (Composite Index), effective market-open on June 20, 2011. The Composite Index is the headline index for Canada, which represents the inclusion of the largest companies on the TSX and the principal benchmark measure for the Canadian equity markets.
