As we power a sustainable future for people and planet, we’re proud to empower the communities where we live and work to achieve their climate action goals. Our new Community Sustainability Fund (CSF) supports grassroots projects that enhance sustainability and benefit our communities. We’re proud to offer CSF grants for our communities across Canada and the United States in addition to our regular corporate giving, employee-matched giving and employee volunteer grants.
For 2023, we’re proud to offer $200,000 through the CSF with a maximum grant of $20,000 per project! Applications due by September 30, 2023.
Before you apply, make sure your project meets our guidelines.
Eligible projects must:
- Be located in our operational or office communities
- Benefit and be accessible to the whole community
- Submit an online application
- Submit a detailed budget
*Individual or personal initiatives (i.e., solar panels on your house) are not applicable for this grant.
Eligible projects include:
- Renewable energy installations
- Energy efficiency
- Emission reductions
- Sustainable food programs and farmer’s markets
- Community gardens
- Nature conservation
- Tree planting
- Water conservation
- Renewable energy and emissions reduction education
- Recycling programs
- EV charging stations
