Nolan Hills Wind is a proposed wind project southwest of Pendleton, Oregon. The project has 47,000 acres under lease from a single, landowner. The site's wind profile is differentiated nicely from the Columbia River Gorge. The proposed Boardman to Hemingway 500 kV transmission line runs through the south portion of the project. In September 2017, Capital Power filed a Notice of Intent for the project with the Oregon Department of Energy.
