Building a Strong Workplace Culture

​We are working hard to build a culture of personal and professional well-being and excellence through our compensation and benefits, learning and development opportunities, community investment and engagement, and ethics and safety programs.

In 2016, we:

  • Completed our second employee engagement survey with a 90% participation rate.

  • Met our target of zero major and zero critical health and safety incidents and achieved zero lost-time incidents, making 2016 our safest year to date.

  • Launched Sprout, an online interactive health and wellness social network, to support our employees’ personal wellness goals and a add a side of fun.

  • Reimbursed approximately $90,000 to 54 employees who took advantage of our After Hours Personal Development Program that funds learning and development opportunities.

  • Enhanced Blueprint, our learning and management system. In 2016, 3,885 courses (1,937 online courses and 1,948 classroom sessions) were recorded.
