Community Investment

In July 2009, EPCOR created Capital Power Corporation (CPC), a power generation company with a portfolio of approximately 3,300 MW of owned and/or operated power generation capacity at 31 facilities in Canada and the United States.

As a key component of Capital Power's commitment to citizenship through community investment, we work to engage stakeholders, promote sustainability, and address the needs of our communities. Through a cohesive, integrated and focused program of community involvement, Capital Power contributes to fostering healthy communities.

Through its EPCOR legacy, Capital Power has a proud tradition of giving back to the communities we serve. For over 100 years we've strived to build partnerships that enhance community life.

Capital Power is developing a community investment program that will engage stakeholders, promote sustainability, and address the needs of our communities. Through a cohesive, integrated and focused program of community involvement, CPC wants to contribute to fostering healthy communities.  Please visit our website in June 2010 to learn more about our Community Investment program and initiatives.
